The Chojugiga teacup is made in Hasami, Japan. It is designed to be held with both hands. The fun animal patterns are made via copperplate transfer printing techniques. The bluish color can show off green color of tea beautifully. The images are from the famous 12th century painting scrolls with the same name, which was deemed as Japanese national treasure. Slight variation in patterns may occur.
